Research and design the main screens for a lead retrieval app that allows conference attendees to exchange details with each other by scanning a QR code on the other attendee’s name badge.

The main goal of this app is to let attendees obtain information about other attendees and use that data to build professional relationships outside of the event. This could entail sales opportunities, marketing, strategic partnerships, or even career opportunities.

Following extensive research and design iterations, I've crafted a mobile app for seamless lead retrieval at conferences. Attendees can effortlessly exchange contact details by scanning QR codes on each other's name badges. The project commenced with a comprehensive research phase aimed at unraveling the intricacies of lead capturing. The goal was to grasp not only the operational framework of lead capturing but also to understand its practical applications and the users it benefits.

To achieve a thorough understanding, our exploration began with the foundational concept of lead capturing, examining its mechanisms, tools, and the contexts in which it is employed. Central to our investigation were lead retrieval tools, sophisticated systems designed to streamline the process of collecting potential customer information during large-scale events.

Lead retrieval tools are ingeniously integrated into the event experience through the use of attendee badges. These badges, equipped with barcodes, ID numbers, or QR codes, serve as digital touchpoints. When attendees register for an event, their contact details are stored in a centralized database. The badges become the key to unlocking these details, facilitating effortless lead capture by exhibitors and participants.

In the Define phase of the development process, my primary objective was to meticulously outline the app's functionality, grounding my decisions in the insights gained from research findings. This crucial phase involved a comprehensive evaluation of app requirements, the formulation of assumptions, and the generation of innovative ideas through brainstorming. I meticulously crafted user stories and developed an Information Architecture (IA) to structure content and interactions effectively.

 

Additionally, I delineated the user flow to ensure a logical and intuitive navigation path through the app. This stage was instrumental in transforming research into a concrete blueprint for the app, setting the stage for the development of a user-centric solution that addresses real needs and enhances the user experience.".

This step ensured that the foundational design decisions were aligned with user needs and expectations, setting a solid groundwork for refining the app’s functionality and user experience.
